Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger played down talk of perfection but nevertheless reflected on "a very good performance" as Nicklas Bendtner scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 defeat of FC Porto which spectacularly overturned a 2-1 first-leg deficit, the official web site of UEFA said.
The other game of the night witnessed a tougher competition between Fiorentina and Bayern as Fiorentina won 3-2 –reaching a 4-4 aggregate – but could not qualify when Bayern scored away goals.
